This policy explains what Counterpart (becomingos.io) collects, why, and who touches it. The short version: we collect what's needed to build and run your Counterpart, we don't sell it, and the third parties we use are named below.
What we collect
Contact details — your name, business name, and email, when you talk to Morgan, submit a form, or commission a build. Build information — everything you tell Morgan during intake (your business, rules, knowledge, and preferences) and any photo or likeness you provide for your Counterpart. Payment records — handled entirely by Stripe; we see billing status, never card numbers. Conversation data — live conversations with Morgan or a Counterpart are processed in real time to run the call, and we keep basic records (when a conversation happened and how long it lasted) for capacity planning.
How we use it
To build, operate, and improve your Counterpart; to bill you; to respond when you ask for changes; and to send you service emails (sign-in links, build updates, launch notices). We don't sell your data, and we don't use your business information to train anything beyond your own Counterpart.
Who touches it
We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: Stripe (payments and billing records), Tavus and Daily (AI persona and live video infrastructure), Vercel (hosting and file storage), and Resend (transactional email). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Google Calendar
If you connect Google Calendar so your Counterpart can book appointments, we access your calendar's free/busy times and create, read, and manage the specific events your Counterpart books — nothing else on your calendar is read or altered. This uses Google's calendar.readonly and calendar.eventsscopes. Your Google refresh token is stored on our servers and used only to keep the connection active; we never see your Google password, and Counterpart's use of this data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your account, which revokes our access and deletes the stored token; you can also revoke access directly from your Google Account permissions page.
Retention
We keep your information while you're a client and for as long as needed afterward for legal and accounting purposes. If you want your build information or likeness deleted after your service ends, email us and we'll remove what we're not legally required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion at any time. Email hello@becomingos.io and a real person will handle it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll notify clients by email before the change takes effect.
