What is a Counterpart?

A Counterpart is a commissioned AI representative with a face, a voice, and your company's own knowledge, deployed into a named business role — an intake specialist, receptionist, sales representative, or product expert. It talks to your customers in real time, answers their questions, qualifies them, and hands the lead to you. It is not a chatbot widget and not a pre-recorded video.

How much does a Counterpart cost?

The commission is a one-time $2,000 to build and launch it. After it is live, platform and maintenance is $647 per month for the Operating plan, which covers up to 100 customer conversations a month. Nothing monthly is charged until the Counterpart is actually live.

How long does it take to build?

Accepted Answer

Typically one to two business days from the point where the face, voice, role, and business knowledge are settled. The build itself is a guided conversation rather than a form — you talk it through and it gets assembled from that.

Do I need to install software?

Accepted Answer

No. A Counterpart lives on a link and an embed, so you can share it directly or drop it onto the site you already have. There is nothing to install and no platform to migrate to.

Can it book appointments and write to my CRM?

Capturing a lead — name, contact, and emailing it to you — is included in the base commission. Booking onto your Google Calendar, writing to HubSpot or a webhook, and sending a Stripe payment link are the Action pack, which connects to the tools you already use rather than replacing them.

Is it available outside business hours?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A Counterpart is on the job every hour, which is the point — most enquiries that go unanswered arrive when nobody is at the desk.

Question 7

Will it make things up about my business?

Accepted Answer

No. It is built on your own approved knowledge and is explicitly constrained from inventing a price, an appointment slot, or a promise you did not authorise. Anything outside what it knows gets handed to a human.
